Andalusia
Thanks to its strategic location between two continents, Andalusia is home to unrivalled biodiversity. Its varied terrain and climate have created a mosaic of protected habitats, making it the region with the richest birdlife on the continent.
With 464 recorded species, we are the favourite destination for birdwatchers from all over the world. The province of Seville safeguards a vital part of this natural treasure, and we will show you the key areas.

Sierra Morena of Seville
one of Andalusia's largest parks is home to both pastures and Mediterranean scrubland, making it a unique spot for watching large birds of prey.
The Seville countryside
vast grain-growing plains that are ideal for observing steppe birds of great ornithological value and other distinctive species within a unique agricultural landscape.
Doñana Natural Park
Much of the Doñana Natural Park is located in the province of Seville, where the habitat is prime for waterbirds and the Iberian Lynx.
Doñana, the Realm of Iberian Lynx
The Mediterranean forest in the Doñana Natural Park is the place where the most endangered feline in the world, the Iberian Lynx, lives. The present population allows us to try to observe it both at key moments of its biological cycle, as well as in other quieter moments.
The Lower Guadalquivir
A unique river ecosystem situated alongside the old riverbed and very close to Seville. A stunning ecological corridor that is rich in biodiversity.
